Welcome to the Volvo Noble Marine RS500 National Championships 2016 - this time at wonderful Lymington Town SC as part of the RS Southerns. Get some great practice for the 2017 World Championships at this location!
We are delighted that our sponsors Noble Marine and Volvo will be supporting the event again. All competitors who have entered by 14 May will be given the opportunity to borrow a wonderful Volvo for the event - delivered to your home address with a free tank of fuel! Make sure you're in the ballot.
The event NoR is available on this site. Please note that one person in each competing boat must be a member of the RS Class Association - please join on this site if necessary.
There will be a coaching day with World Champion and LTSC Sailor, Pete Barton on Thursday, then racing alone on Friday. On Saturday & Sunday there will be 2 large courses; details of which fleets will sail together will depend on entry numbers in each fleet, but the club will ensure that racing is of the best possible standard.
Due to limited boat parking, the event is limited to 150 boats over all fleets, so please enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Entry is via this site. Entry fee is just £65 for 3 days racing and 2 great socials; youth entry (U.22) is £55. Coaching is just £20 for the day. There is a late entry levy of £15 which will be added to anyone who has not entered and paid by 31 May 2016.

The
catering will be simple due to the numbers. You can book your Saturday evening meal (tasty Chilli with veggie option) with your entry for just £6.95/person. This can also be booked at registration for £8/person, but no booking can be taken after registration closes. There will be breakfast and snacks available.
Accommodation We have very local camping organised in our scout field for £10/tent or £15 campervan/night on Saturday only. There is also a local 'official' camp site (Solent View - <1m away), loads of B&Bs, etc, and we are planning to offer accommodation with our club members - please ask Heather Chipperfield for details after 14 April 2016.
