RS200/RS400/RS500 Women's Weekend, also open to RS Fevas with at least one adult sailor per boat (sorry no all under 18 pairs).

We have reluctantly taken the decision not to inlcude the RS800s with this event, due to lack of numbers, but female RS800 sailors are of course very welcome to take part in the development weekends on the RS800 calendar here

The RS Class Association are keen to encourage and help develop our female sailors, and in particular encourage more women to helm. We are proud to have have a good representation of female sailors at all levels across our fleets and want to do all we can to further this.
Open to all female sailors (male helm or crew allowed), whether experienced or helming for the first time, this welcoming weekend will help you build your skills and confidence, share experiences and encourage friendships and fun with fellow female sailors.
Investment from the Class Association means that we have been able to secure top quality coaches, and deliver small group coaching.
We are delighted that RYA High Performance Coach, Vincent Horey will be the coach for this weekend.
Schedule
The plan is for a coaching day on Saturday, followed by informal short-course coached racing on Sunday, plus a team meal on Saturday evening at the club.
Please arrive in time to be rigged (but not changed) by 10.30am on Saturday. There will then be a classroom session, before going on to the water.
A WhatsApp group will be set up for the coach and sailors to make plans to best suit the group.
Entry
Entry is open to all female helms, with crews of any gender.
Entry Fee £80/boat for entries received by 10th March, £20 late entry fee for entries receved after this date. Online entry will close on 20th March.
At least one sailor per boat must be a member of the RS Class Association. One-event membership is available with entry.
