We’re excited to confirm the 2027 European Championship will be taking place in Hamble-le-Rice, UK from Monday 9th – Friday 13th August 2027.

Crews are warmly invited to arrive early and make the most of the full event atmosphere, with attendance welcome from Saturday 7th through to Saturday 14th August, giving plenty of time to train, settle in, and enjoy everything the championship week has to offer.

This promises to be a standout week of racing at the highest European level, bringing together top crews, tight competition, and an unforgettable championship atmosphere on and off the water.

The RS500 class combines highly competitive racing with a friendly and inclusive spirit, which makes it a particularly good fit for the Royal Southern. We look forward to welcoming competitors, families and supporters from across Europe to Hamble for what promises to be a superb championship both on and off the water.With the Solent providing world-class racing conditions and the Club offering a vibrant social program ashore, we are committed to delivering an event worthy of the class and its growing reputation.
