PRESS RELEASE - Harken to sponsor Volvo Noble Marine RS200 Nationals - you could win a #heresharken beanie!
PRESS RELEASE: Harken to sponsor Volvo Noble Marine RS200 National Championships
Harken have announced that they will once again be sponsoring the Volvo Noble Marine RS200 National Championships.
“We are delighted to have Harken on board again” said Sally Campbell, Class Association Secretary “they are one of our most popular sponsors, the sailors love the practical, premium quality prizes they provide. The exclusive #heresharken beanies have proved particularly popular and have been seen in some of the top regattas throughout the season. This year I think there will be tough competition for the backpacks too”.
The RS200 is the biggest double handed dinghy class in the UK, and to ensure that everyone has a chance of winning a prize the sailors are split into gold, silver and bronze fleets, all racing together, with daily prizes awarded in each fleet.
Harken’s Sponsorship Co-ordinator Hannah Cotterell commented “The RS200 is one of the largest dinghy classes in the UK, and we are proud to show our support for the National Championships with a range of exciting and exclusive prizes. Best of luck to all competing from the team here at Harken!”
The 2015 National Championships will take place at South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club from 2nd-6th August. Entry is expected to surpass last year’s 100 boat mark and with just over a month to go, competitors are urged to enter before 30th June to take advantage of the early entry discount, saving up to £95 per boat vs the late entry rate.
