5 more RS200 club training grants released
Late last year the RS200 Class Association introduced a new club coaching scheme to encourage RS200 coaching at clubs around the country.
In the first round grants were awarded to Burghfield, Parkstone, Hayling Island, Waldringfield, County Antrim and Killaloe.
The class committee are delighted at the success of the initiative and have voted to release 5 more grants of £50.
The grants will be awarded to clubs to contribute towards the cost of a training day - to qualify, extra costs should be split between the sailors (or funded by the club) and if there are spare spaces they should be offered to RS200 sailors from nearby clubs. The day should be organised by the club, but we can help with suggestions for coaches if required.
To apply for your club please contact [email protected] Ideally we would like a good geographical spread, so we would particularly welcome applications form Northern clubs in the run up to Filey 2020.
