RS Eurocup Torbole 2021 Cancelled
We feel that the current complications and uncertainty around European travel for summer 2021 make it impossible to run these events with confidence.
We were looking forward to the events, but we hope that the relatively early cancellation will make it possible for sailors to plan their sailing season and their summer holidays. It will also give YC Torbole the chance to find an alternative booking for the dates we had reserved.
We have an excellent relationship with Torbole, they are grateful that we have made this decision early and are happy to discuss dates in 2023 or 2024 with us.
And it is not all bad news. This early cancellation will give us the opportunity to concentrate on running an excellent and memorable home season in 2021. And we have every intention in doing so.
We cannot wait to see our fleets back on the water racing together.
So we are sad and sorry to bring you this news, but rest assured there is plenty to look forward to. Please continue to support your fleet and your sport by supporting your RS Class Association.
Very much hope to see you all soon,
Hannah
