Noble Marine West Country Boat Repairs RS200 Nationals – entry limit increased to 130 boats!
The RS Class Association and Exe Sailing Club are delighted to announce that the entry limit for the sell-out Noble Marine West Country Boat Repairs RS200 Nationals has been increased to a massive 130 boats.
Nick Coombes, Exe SC Event Manger said “We’ve been waiting to hear what Boris Johnson would announce, and it’s great news that the COVID alert level has once again been reduced. We feel comfortable to open up the event now.”
All RS200 sailors on the waiting list are now being invited to pay for their entry and spread the word to others wishing to take part.
The RS200 committee are now busy working with the club to finalise the awesome social programme, the highlight of which will be The Mystery Themed Ugly Party, hosted by event sponsor Pete ‘Ugly’ Vincent owner of West Country Boat Repairs and RS200 sailor since the launch of the RS200. Watch this space for an announcement soon!
Pete Vincent, said “This is the news we have all been waiting for! I have a feeling that this event could be one of the most popular RS200 Nationals ever held and almost certainly once again the UK’s biggest double-handed adult fleet. Isn’t that fantastic for a 25 year old boat?! We now have a whole host of 2nd generation RS sailors in the fleet, some like Lucy Hewitson sailing against her parents Tom and Jo – I daren’t say who I’d bet on for that in-house contest!
