RS200 Events all over the place - the 2025 season is well and truly getting underway!
Did you know that if you were dedicated (and mad and rich) enough, you could go to an RS200 event every weekend from now until the end of May?!
So, where are we going?
Sailing Chandlery Northern Tour, Yorkshire Dales, 12 Apr
This Saturday! Paul Hill from YDSC says "Come and join us at the Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club this Saturday. Booking closes at noon on Thursday. You are welcome to join the 400s for an evening meal at the club on Saturday and if you like join us for club racing on Sunday as day members if you would like to stay over." He also warns that the road through P{ateley Bridge is scheduled to be closed, so be sure to check it out. Details here.
Sailing Chandlery EaSEA Tour at Waldringfield Easter Egg, 18/19 Apr
You've heard it already "Six races over two days for Trophies, Easter Eggs, and glory!" note that the first race has been put back to 1300, so an extra 2 hours in bed! No, this wasn't just for the 200 youth contingent!! All the info here.
Rooster Championship Tour Spring Champs, Ullswater Daffodil Regatta, 26/27 Apr
The first event of the 2025 Rooster Championship Tour, the first chance to suss out the National competition and meet up with your RS200n friends from across the regions. We hear that boats will be issued with trackers - should be interesting for the inevitable post mortems debriefs! Details here.
Salcombe Bank Holiday Opne, 3-5/5
This marmite venue is not an official 200 event, but we want to see if it appeals with a view to perhaps adding it to the SWUT in 2026. Vote with your feet, or should we say your boat? Details here.

Details coming soon - do we have a local sailor who will be our event coordinator here? You will probably know that Ben Teague is now S.coast based, so we really do need some Northern sailors to step into his role, even if only for 1 event. Contact Sally if you can help.
West Country Boat Repairs SWUT, Parkstone, 31 May
A one-day event in the bay with the RS400s, expect a big fleet and a warm welcome. Details soon.
And then it's June already where the biggest date is the Rooster Championship Tour Summer Champs at Warsash, 21/22 June, with evenmts also taking place at East Lothian, Tynemouth and Bowmoor, ahead of Restronguet, Budworth, Royal Findhorn and Lymington in July.
