A welcome (for some) seismic shift in the wind from fresh on the first two days to light on day 3 saw a nail-biting finish to the RS500 National Championships, with a 4 hour delay and 2 races fitted in just
before the cut-off time.
The event was extremely competitive with 6 different race winners in 8 races, but it was the consistency of Pete Barton/Heather Chippperfield (when they had a centreboard) which won through in the end. Yippee!
